Ikeda's

Small shop & restaurant with a plethora of fruit & a veggie focus. Things are very fresh & there's an area where you can taste some of their products. Be aware it is quite pricey. For me it was a place I would only go to once just to satisfy my curiosity as it is a bit of the way.

Best Hamburger in the Northern Ca. Region. Right off of 80 just before town of Auburn. Oh and don't forget a slice of pie. So very delicious.

This is THE place to go to get fruits and veggies, and homemade pies and cobblers. I could spend hours shopping in there, there's so much good stuff to choose from.

Small modest place with a huge heart and awesome food, I tried two different sandwiches, the real crab meat and the salmon. Amazing flavor, the crab is a subtle but authentic experience and the salmon y a flavor explosion. The small fruit shop offers many thing you find in a farmers market but daily.

Don't get the burgers here-- think tri-tip sandwich. It's out of this world. Recommend the prepped foods too.

This place has a large selection of home made food! large candy/chocolate selection. The salsas are amazing too!

A great place to stop when travelling between the Bay area and Tahoe. Part restaurant, part pie shop, and part market. The restaurant serves burgers, sandwiches, and milkshakes - and warm slices of pie. In the adjacent market, you can buy locally grown produce and fruit, whole pies, and sweets.

This is an amazing place it was my first time here they make their own products spaghetti sauce Cheese's marinated meats and I had their patty melt absolutely mouth-watering I love this place I will return here as soon as I am in this area again I highly recommend it everything that came out of that kitchen looked amazing and people were just pouring in like it was going out of style that says a lot about a restaurant

Great place to stop by for lunch. Ate lunch there when coming back from Tahoe. Their burgers are decent, and their potpies even better.

Best pie i have ever had in my life!!! I am a picky eater of small portions but I'll eat 3 servings of this in one sitting. Crust is flaky with just the right amount of sweet and the berries are fresh. Pie does not get better than this

High prices on the nuts but they have a lot of good things

It's nice grocery store with variety of options for vegetarian and non vegetarians. Day to day use items, fruits, vegetable and so on...

Gorgeous place. I've met people all around the US who know what Ikea's is. Been going here for years and the quality has never wavered even as they've gotten busier. Stop here if you have the opportunity!

I can't say enough about this place it's the most best place to go and buy pies or quick snack to eat the people are sweet and nice very helpful they will help you with ideas great place to buy a last-minute gift if you like wine I always stop and get the coconut cream pie and it is very good if you don't like cooking and cream there's lemon meringue apple pie Dutch during the season that pumpkin sweet potato pie they have cherry pie it's a laid-back place small tiny like a grocery store in a way walking around is really mellow nobody pressures restaurant next door is awesome to I can go on and on and on if you're going towards Sacramento or coming back from California that is a place to stop at all times I stop coming and going😍😍😍

Great pie for the high guy! But if you're not high, then you must be low neeeeee!!??? Well they have nice stow and they'll give you a free blow for the low guy!

A great place to stop, right off I-80, when driving to (North) Tahoe or Reno. The restaurant is fast - the Chicken Pot Pies are good. The produce is very good and the are very many interesting specialty food products. Sort of like a more local Trader Joe's on steroids.

A super delicious burger and the pies are to die for! Lots of local treats to choose from in the market and the produce is always exceptional!!! It’s a must stop in our way from Reno to Sac!

I am yet to be disappointed! This is a little store that sells the most amazing food. It looks like it would be a greasy spoon but once you're inside you realize that everything is so fresh. It has a road side stand aesthetic with a bourgeois attitude. There are two parts the restaurant side and the store side that sells local fruits, veggies and PIES! This place is fairly expensive but it is definitely not over priced, the food is totally worth the price. Seating is limited and a little congested but the crowd is usually so happy to be there that everyone is in a euphoric mood in anticipation of the meal to come. We are from out of state but we plan every trip to the area around making an Ikeda stop. One of our family traditions is taking home a couple of pies, they are the best pies I have ever tasted.

Ikeda's is an institution! I've been enjoying their food for a long time. Awesome burgers, fries and shakes and then there is the pies!!!! I make a point to stop by there every time.

Great place to stop at in Auburn if you want a good burger and enjoy amazing pies. Everything is worth it but if you're not looking to spend 50 bucks on 3 burgers and fries, go to In and Out near hwy 49. If you hadn't gone here before, it's worth it at least once to check out.

Great local store with various locally made items. Can find items you don't see in any other grocery. A bit higher prices overall

Ikeda's was always on our recommended list of places to stop for lunch while travelling between Reno and the bay area. I often missed the turn of until I had passed it and consequently never stopped. This time we discovered the correct exit and we were not disappointed. The hamburgers were delicious.I managed, while waiting for our order to wander through their store and selected a few items for later consumption.

Lovvvveee IKEDAS. BEZT PIES ON EARTH. AND the veggie smear is SOOOOO GOOD. u can go sample it ANYTIME.

This place has fresh, dried and canned delisiousness straight from their ranch. Seasonal depending on when you visit, but something for everyone. Even fresh made hamburgers for the meat eaters & fresh baked goods also. Stop... You'll be excited you did!
